As I mentioned the last time I posted to the blog, we had a bunch of family in town to celebrate a number of September birthdays. Here are some photos of our "Birthday Bonanza".

My sister Kat and her boyfriend Craig came down from Georgia to help us celebrate the many September birthdays in our family. (My brother Adam on September 2nd, Bubba on the 6th, Bubba's dad Tom on the 14th and Mattie on the 16th.)

Mattie is still on her Pirate kick. She decided it was time to have Teag join in all the fun. Here is Cap'n Mattie and First Mate Teag




The nurses in Boston made sure Teag came back to Florida a Red Sox fan. He is finally big enough for the outfit so we o\put it on him just in time for Craig's visit. Go Red Sox!




Mattie is becoming very aware of her little brothers needs. , just listen to her. She is too cute and such a big helper.

Back on August 31st Bubba took Mattie and Teag to a bowling party for our friend Rick's birthday. This was Mattie's first time bowling and Bubba said she LOVED IT!!

Bubba was presented with a Heroism Award yesterday, 9/10/08, for his actions when he witnessed a horrific accident on the beachline back in June. He was off-duty, returning home from shift and was the first person on scene. His actions helped to save the lives of two people. We are extremely proud of him.

We took Teag to the doctor on Wednesday. He now weighs 14 lbs. and is 23 inches! His iron level had dropped some but was still within the appropriate range for his corrected age. The doctor was just amazed at how chubby he is. Teag was so good also. He just smiled at all the staff. He didn't even so much as frown when they pricked his big toe for a drop of blood.



He's a water baby just like his sister. Don't you just love the chubbiness?!



Mattie is so sweet with him. She wants to help take care of him all the time. Mattie was weighed and measured at Teag's appointment. She is up to 31 lbs. and 37 inches.



Mattie's new favorite restaurant, besides Good Buddies of course, is Tijuana Flats. She usually eats a chicken and black bean burrito. Here her and Bubba try some chips and queso.



I had to get a photo of this. She wanted to put her crayon behind her ear like her Papa does with his pencil.



Exploring the sand box. Mattie had fun burying Teag's legs in the sand. Teag just sat there and watched her, smiling most of the time.

Mattie has such a beautiful singing voice. We try to expose to all kinds of music. Listen as she may have created a song perfect for dogs.





Teag is starting to get the hang of his jumperoo.


With the way Mattie swims we need to start Teag early. He's all ready kicking his legs and trying to move his arms.

Baby laughter is the sweetest sound. Teag is SUCH a happy baby.
