Mattie and Teag enjoying some time in the pool together. Teag has almost got his float down all by himself. His instructor is starting to work on his swim. It is amazing to watch him face down in the watch kicking and reaching for the edge.

Who doesn't love a bubble bath!

Surf lessons with Daddy!

Finger painting

Our little chefs! We made some chocolate chips cookies! Mmmm...

Okay, so many of you have already heard that Mattie rolled off the bed in June and got her first "shiner". Here are some pictures of her black eye. She was a trooper.

oops..posted this one of Teag in between. "Who wants a ride in my fire truck?"

Here's our beautiful girl with her shiner.

June 6th Mattie had her dance recital. Of course they were not allowing video recording during the show but I did manage to get some video at the dress rehearsal two days prior. Forgive the bad recording. Mattie was looking at me so I was trying to record and look at her at the same time. She makes me smile!

Dinner time fun. Bubba took the kids to Disney during Star Wars weekend so here is Teag impersonating Darth Vader and Mattie, after a cue from Daddy, as Chewbacca.

Mattie and Teag playing in the tub. Mattie named them the "Bubble twins'.

Mattie belly dancing in Morocco...okay, so it's really Epcot but check out her moves!

I know, I know...it's about time I posted some new stuff on here. In my defense I was taking an online course last month that took up a lot of my time. Anyway, I'll try to fill you all in ...

Teag is walking! He took his first step on May 8th and slowly added a step here and then and by the end of the month he'd gotten it down. It's fun watching him toddle around after Mattie calling for her. He can't say her entire name. We'll just hear him repeating "Maaa" as he toddles along, big smile on his face. He wants to be where ever his big sister is and play with whatever his big sister is playing with. He'll grab her dolls and trucks and move them along making noises as if trying to imitate the way Mattie is playing with them. It is too cute. He's getting big! Not sure what he is weighing these days but we have yet to find something he won't eat. He is currently learning enrolled in the ISR swim program and is learning to float. After 6 lessons he was already floating on his own for up to 3 seconds.

Mattie is still our little fish. The ISR instructor even recommended actual swim lessons after we brought Mattie for a refresher. She was trying to get Mattie to use her float to rest in between swims but Mattie kept telling her "but I'm not tired". She was amazed at Mattie's abilities at such a young age. Below is some video of Mattie in out pool.
