Mattie and Mommy had a girl's night out. First we went to dinner at Carrabba's. We sat up at the kitchen bar to watch the chefs cook. The pizza chef gave Mattie some pizza dough to play with. She had a great time watching them, asking their names and telling them to be careful any time she saw flames. She loved watching them make her own little pizza which she ate with a side of broccoli.

After dinner we went to the King Center in Melbourne to see "The Backyardigans Live on Stage- The Tale of the Mighty Knight". Here's Mattie before the show with her souvenir t-shirt.

At the show the children were given a knight's shield. Mattie loved holding it and telling me she was Knight Mattie. The next morning Daddy thought it was the perfect size for Teag, but not to be a knight but...a Pope.

Mattie taking good care of her brother. She has become such big helper, especially with me being back at work now.

Teag and his teddy bear. He's already wearing his Boston College onesie in preparation for football season. He's not just a fan because mommy went to school there, he was born just down the road from the campus. Go Eagles!
