Hard to believe our baby girl is 3 years old! What a joy she is and continues to be. We took Mattie to the Magic Kingdom on her birthday. She was excited to drive the race cars this time and wanted to see fireworks. When we arrived they gave Mattie a pin to wear that said "Happy Birthday Mattie". She was very proud of it, as you can see.



Here she is...finally getting to drive the race cars. She has recently watched the movie "Cars" for the first time and has been going around telling everyone that she is Lightning McQueen.



At lunch there was a Disney cast member playing hula hoops with the children. Mattie caught on very quickly. The cast member said she was the smartest 3 year old he'd seen.

Captain Hook, Smee and the Vann family! Last time we were here Mattie did not get to meet Captain Hook so she was VERY excited about this. (I have photos to post soon of Mattie's birthday party. Yes, it was a pirate party complete with Captain Hook cups, plates and stickers.)


Wendy was also in from Neverland for a photo shoot.


Thank you Mema for the birthday money. (Mattie bought a pirate Mickey and a cowboy Mickey--that was what she wanted.)

While Teag was taking a nap in the stroller, Bubba took Mattie over to Tom Sawyer's Island to run around. She loved it! Listen closely to Mattie's answers to Bubba. I know the footage is dark but you had to hear this. She definitely is not afraid of the dark.
